Crusoe loaded his guns and pistols ready for the fight... he went up the hill and saw that there were twenty-one savages and three prisoners... Coming back to Friday,, he shared out the weapons between them.. Friday had one pistol and his axe in his belt... he carried three guns... Crusoe had a pistol and three guns and also a knife in his belt
grusoe aimed his gun at savages and telling Friday to do the same shouted 'fire'.. with the first shoot Friday killed two savages and wounded three more... grusoe killed one and wounded two....
the savages who were not hurt jumped up in great fear,, not knowing which way to run. grusoe and Friday took up their second guns and grusoe shouted 'fire' again.. This time only two savages fell,, but many more werw wounded.. the rest were run ning round shouting and screaming...
Crusoe and Friday taking up their third guns advanced tovanced the savages shouting....
