Wish You Were Here

It was Chekhov who observed that"When an actor has money,he does t send letters but telegrams"
This is a story about an actor receiving one.




A telegram to one of this leading men in the middle of a performance .When William Gaxton returned to this dressing -room during intermission of Kaufmans Of Thee I Sing,he found the telegram from the playwright .It read :Am waching your perfomance from the rear of the house.Wish you were here...............
